Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDANIEL PROKOP It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Daniel Prokop, on Tuesday, April 11, 2017, at the Maples Personal Care Home, at the age of 77 years old. Forever cherishing his memory is his loving wife Helen, of 52 years; son Darren (Stephanie); daughter Karen; brother Richard; sisters-in-law, Jean Richter (Wendell), Mary Macki, Elda Macki, nephews, nieces, aunts and cousins. Predeceased by parents, Anne and Robert. Born in Winnipeg on February 4, 1940. Graduated from West Kildonan Collegiate in 1957. The majority of his career was at Acme Fast Freight, where he excelled in his role as Terminal Manager. He had a love of oldies music, classic cars, going to Grand Beach, watching sports on TV, working in the backyard and especially spending time with family and friends. Family and friends will remember him as warm-hearted with an outgoing nature. We will miss his sense of humour and his ability to make us laugh. Heartfelt appreciation and love is extended to Jean Richter and Dave Hall for their kindness and support, and to the wonderful staff at the Maples Personal Care Home for taking such great care of Daniel.
