Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPETER EWERT July 24, 1942 - April 26, 2017 "Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer." Romans 12:12 Peter Ewert passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family at the age of 74. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Maria of 48 years, their children and grandchildren: Mona and Chris Scott, Kiana, Malachi; Tanya and Hans E. Boge, Maya, Arianna, Hans Lukas, Elora, Adalia; Nanette and Matthew Schmidt, Brianna, Aliyah, Ella, Lucy; his siblings: Henry and Penny Ewert, Frank and Cherie Ewert, Kathie Ewert, Elizabeth and Paul Janzen; his brothers and sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Heinrich and Katharina Ewert, sister Helene, his parents-in-law Kornelius and Maria Dyck and brother-in-law Peter Dyck. Dad will be lovingly remembered as a kind and generous man who loved his family, his church and his God. He was faithful in his daily prayers for all of us. He loved reading his Bible. The family would like to thank Dr. Carey Isaac and the Concordia Hospital 3rd floor staff for their wonderful care for our Dad. Donations can be made to the Concordia Foundation. The funeral will be held Monday, May 1 at 11:00 a.m. at the North Kildonan Mennonite Brethren Church, 1315 Gateway Road in Winnipeg, with viewing prior to the service. Interment in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens.

Peter was one of the most giving and generous man I have ever had the pleasure of working with. He always was there with kind words and a helping hand.
