Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOHN KAMPEN November 26, 1935 - May 2, 2017 Peacefully on May 2, 2017, at the age of 81, John Kampen went to be with his Lord. He is survived by his wife Anna, son Rudi (Marilyn), daughter Erika Robinson (Charles Rob), son Reinhard (Heidi), son Bruno (Audrey), 14 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents Johann and Katharina (Peters), and his sister, Kaethe (David) Neufeld. Funeral service will be held on Monday, May 8 at 11:00 a.m. at Springfield Heights Mennonite Church, 570 Sharon Bay, with interment to follow at Green Acres Cemetery. If desired, donations can be made to Mennonite Central Committee. Because Christ lives, death is not tragedy but triumph.
