JACQUELINE JOHNSON July 29, 1962 - May 26, 2017 It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the passing of our beautiful mom, amma, sister, niece, granddaughter, aunt and friend, Jackie. She was an extraordinary, amazing lady who loved beautifully and laughed often. Jackie was the first born to Kris and Adeline Johnson of Arborg. She leaves to mourn her son Donald (Kayleigh); granddaughter Hadleigh; siblings, Michael (Karen), Kenneth (Tamara) and Naomi (Alan); nieces and nephews; her amma (Bertha); along with aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents and baby sister. Jackie grew up on the family farm at Fiskilaek and attended school in Arborg. She spent all her adult life living and working in Winnipeg. She married and had her son who was the focus of her life. Jackie loved physical fitness, worked as a personal trainer and was adored by many of her clients. She was a devoted and proud Amma to her little 'Squishy.' Her life ended tragically, far too soon on her beloved motorcycle. The family would like to send a special thanks to all those who assisted at the accident scene. A private family service was held on Friday, June 2, 2017 at the Heritage Hall. "Rest in peace Jacqueline, we will miss you dearly." "Godda Nott Elskan" www.voyagefuneralhome.com

Condolences & Memories (7 entries)

  • Jacki was the sweetest lady. Always had nice things to say about everyone that she came in contact with. I was an Instructor @ both Shapes & Goodlife & Jackie always greeted us with a smile a joke or something nice to say. We all know today is hard for her family & close friends, can’t believe it’s been 2 years already she was so alive & will be so forever. - Posted by: Jayne Steeves (Friend ) on: May 26, 2020

  • Jaxx was a beautiful shining light through good times and challenging ones. I am honored to have been able to spend many hours over the past 9-10 years sharing stories of family, work and of course bikes. I shall hold dear memories of always laughing (often with and about my silliness during workouts), tears during hard times and losses (for both of us), celebrating wonderful times (like how happy and joyful she was whenever she spoke about and shared pictures of Hadleigh), and generally being a caring, intelligent, and thoughtful woman who lived her life fully and had a special gift of helping others find their own joy, strength and determination. I'm not able to attend the Celebration of Life but would so very much like to extend a warm hug to Donald and Kayleigh and Hadleigh. She will be watching and when you most need her, allow yourself the gift of a peaceful moment to listen and be aware...somehow I think she will be there. - Posted by: Sue Narozniak (Friend and Long-time Client) on: Jun 03, 2017

  • We are so sorry for your loss. Jackie was a great lady that we have known for the last seven years. She was warm and kind, we were lucky to know her. We will miss her. - Posted by: Daniela and Brad Mattes (friend) on: Jun 02, 2017

  • To Jackie's Family, It is with great sorrow in my heart that I write this. Jackie and I first met i our teens and friendship bloomed. As we travelled different paths in life we lost track of each other, as that often happens. Through another friend I discovered she was living only a couple streets away from me a few years ago. We didn't see each other often, but when we did the visits were happy ones. Jackie touched the people she met in a very special way. The world is empty without her in it, for the sun shone brighter and warmer because of her smile. My thoughts and prayers are with you at such a sorrowful time in your lives. I will miss her greatly and her memory will always be treasured in my heart. May peace find you at this difficult time and comfort you. - Posted by: Cathy Nevakshonoff-Benoit (Friend) on: Jun 02, 2017
