REGINA JEMIELITY January 21, 1927 - June 2, 2017 Surrounded by family, on June 2, 2017, Regina passed away peacefully at 90 years of age, at Seven Oaks Hospital. Her memory will be cherished by her loving children, daughters Diane (Bob), Jennie, and son, Ed (Kim). Nan is also survived by grandchildren, James (Kim), Sara, Jennifer (Mike), Chris (Ashleigh), Nicole (Brian) and Ryan (Stephanie), and great-grandchildren Teka, Landen, Caprice, Ilaina, Elyse, Aliya, Dawson, Madison, Samarah, Lucas and Parker. She was predeceased by her husband William in 2002, and son-in-law Garth in 2000. Regina was born in Ukraine in 1927. In 1946, after the Second World War, Regina came to Canada. She met William in Winnipeg and they were married in 1948. Regina enjoyed cooking, gardening (especially watching her tomatoes grow) and time spent at the lake. Mom could always be found enjoying the sun in her backyard while listening to her radio. Regina looked forward to, and enjoyed her outings to The Holy Family Day Program. The family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to Sandra and Beverly for the love and compassion that was given to Mom. The family would also like to thank the staff at Seven Oaks Hospital, Brenda and Home Care who cared for Mom. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Canadian Diabetes Association, 401-1 Wesley Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3C 4C6. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Ghost Church, 341 Selkirk Ave. at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 9, 2017. Viewing and Rosary at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Holy Ghost Cemetery.
