DEBRA LYNN DAWSON (nee EDMISON) December 17, 1956 - June 11, 2017 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Debra Dawson. She has joined her partner, best friend and father of her children, Cliff Gunner. Debbie worked for many years in property management before becoming an esthetician, which allowed her to express her creative side. She loved her dog, Koko, and spending time with her adopted granddaughter, Faith. Debbie liked scary movies, country music, puzzles, and arts and crafts. Forever missed by daughters, Tara (Solange) Bouvier and Lea (Mark) Currie, as well as her mother, Minnie Edmison, and many siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. No formal service will be held. A reception will take place on Saturday, June 17 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation. Gone but never forgotten. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 204-586-8044

  • It didn't matter that we hadn't spoken regularly, we were as close as two friends could be. Many is the time we worked together. Laughter was our main menu, and shoulders are WHAT we learned on when we needed it.
