A wake (Filipino Lamay) will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 24 at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St., Winnipeg, MB. This includes a Prayer Vigil at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 30 at St. Ignatius Church, 255 Stafford St., Winnipeg, MB. Full obituary to follow Saturday. We are saddened to learn of the passing of a dear family friend, Dr. Francisco Violago. Throughout his life, Dr. Violago has been a loving husband, a caring father to his children, a faithful friend, and a staunch supporter of the Filipino community in Winnipeg.
