AUDREY HALAYKO Peacefully on July 1, 2017, with loved ones by her side, Audrey Halayko passed away at the age of 68 after a brief but courageous battle with Lymphoma. Audrey is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Brian; daughter Stacey (Helmut); grandson Jaxon; brother Raymond (Joyce), and numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Joe and Kay Mazur, and brother Bernie. Audrey enjoyed her work at Lifetouch (photography) until her retirement at age 66. She liked spending time at the casino, playing cards and having dinner with friends. She especially looked forward to spending time with her family, particularly her grandson whom she adored. She spent many hours cheering him on playing hockey, reading to him and spoiling him in every way she could. She will be terribly missed by all whose lives she touched. Memorial service will be held on Friday, July 7, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main St., Winnipeg, Manitoba. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Audrey may be made to CancerCare Manitoba.
