ALFRED (FREDDY) MACIUBA It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of our beloved husband, dad and dziadzio on Monday, July 3, 2017, at the age of 78. Freddy will be missed by Alicja, his wife of 56 years, daughters: Meg Ireland and Kathie Barnard (Jeff); grandchildren: Tiana Ross (Paul), Jarrid Ireland, Ryan and Karley Barnard, as well as many friends. Dziadzio loved his family and was very proud of his children and grandchildren. Freddy was a very active man who loved the outdoors. His greatest pleasures were hunting, camping and especially fishing, which he was truly the best at. Our heartfelt thanks go to Dr. Ghorpade and to those staff at the I.H. Asper Cardiac Institute who showed our Freddy such care and compassion over the past several months. A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 10, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Ghost Church, 341 Selkirk Ave. If friends so desire, memorial donations can be made to the I.H.
