I first met Abe at Willmar Windows where he struck me as a man of integrity and later I would often see him volunteering for church functions . He always said hello and asked how things were going . He listened with interest . Often he offered prayer for certain situations . He truly portrayed a way that a Christian must act and be . - Posted by: Gordon Seier (Friend ) on: Aug 10, 2017

My Uncle Abe was a generous, compassionate, and kind man. My wife Lyriece and I will miss him dearly. Even my now adult children have memories of Uncle Abe, giving them rides around their large property in Winnipeg when we lived there. Uncle Abe always took time and interest in us. With a warm smile and a hug, he would greet us at every family get together, and genuinely talk to us, share with us, laugh with us. Uncle Abe......we will miss you! Thank you for being a great Uncle to me and my family! - Posted by: Jeff Pries (I am Abe's nephew (possibly his favorite??? :)) on: Jul 12, 2017

I worked for Abe at Dashwood Industries back in the 70s! He was the kindest and most gentle man I have ever worked for. Oh his jokes were bad but he enjoyed telling them. He always treated me with respect and kindly and understood that as a single Mother there were times when my son came before my job. Condolences to the family....Abe was a wonderful man.
