HENRY DYCK It is with sadness that the family announces the passing of Henry Dyck on August 22, 2017, after a brief illness. Henry was predeceased by his loving wife Ella Dyck in 2013. Henry is survived by his children Norm (Nancy), Ken (Merle), Shirley Enns (John) and Anthony (Karen); his grandchildren Laura (J.P.), Cameron (Katherin), Evan (Kate), Dale (Tim), Russell (Sarah), Richard (Brandi), Farrah, Kari, Nikolas (Jayelle), Joel and Rachel; his great-grandchildren Darrick, Peter, Anna, Kathy, Zack, Blair, Jake and Adelie. Predeceased by granddaughters Jillian (1999) and Emily (2000). Dad lived and breathed the farm life. After moving off the family farm in 1988 he continued to help out with seeding, driving water truck during spraying, swathing and driving combine. Even though his health was slowing him down, this spring he still helped out with seeding by driving fertilizer truck. When Mom passed away he continued with his gardening and spent many hours pampering his precious cucumber plants and pickling - coming every other day to pick and count his bounty. Dad also loved his music. He enjoyed singing in the church choir and playing mandolin with his sister Martha. Donations can be made in Dad's memory to CancerCare Manitoba. Memorial Service will be held at Springstein Mennonite Church, Springstein, Manitoba on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 11:00 a.m., officiated by Pastor Randy Hildebrand. Private family interment will have taken place.
