I recently became aware of Richard's passing. And although it has been many years since I was able to sit down with Richard and talk, my heart aches knowing he is no longer with us. He loved his family, his mom whom he felt proud to walk in church with, his nephews and his sister. It has been ten years since the last time I saw Richard, so I never met his son, but I know how much Richard was looking forward to having a family of his own. He must have been a great dad. I have many memories of Richard, watching football, golfing (we were both learning at the time) he eventually ditched me to golf with better players), fishing and telling him I liked the awful strong perfume he would buy me as gifts (and I never wore). We met when we were 21 and over the years, he always remained a dedicated worker with strong aspirations for the future. I will miss his stories the most (and yes Liz, I'm not making it up - he talked a lot) and his smirk. Hugs - Posted by: Penny (Friend) on: Apr 06, 2018
