TRUDY WARWICK April 6, 1950 - August 25, 2017 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Trudy Warwick. Trudy lost her battle to cancer on Friday, August 25, 2017. Trudy grew up in Winnipeg, MB with her parents, Michael and Lydia Nykiel and her brother Harry (Marg). She then met the love of her life, Jack Warwick and got married. They had two sons: Clint (Sheri) and Mike (Brenda). She then later had five grandchildren (Melissa, Alicia, Arianna, Jonathan and Grady), whom she loved dearly. Trudy had a great sense of humour, a very caring and loving heart and she was always willing to help people in need. She will be missed by so many but we will always cherish countless memories of her. Trudy is now again with the love of her life in heaven and they are flying with the angels together. We would like to thank Allyson Antonishyn, her friends the "Bethesda chicks" (Sue Hiebert, Marie Bartel, Betty Nikkel, and Elfrieda Bremaud), and Sara Wolf for being by her side and for the never ending love and friendship. We would also like to thank Dr. Illchyna for taking the time to stop in everyday and for taking such great care of Trudy. Thank you to the Bethesda Hospital staff as well. A private interment will be held at a later date. Arrangements by BIRCHWOOD FUNERAL CHAPEL 1-204-346-1030 OR 1-888-454-1030

Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • So sorry for your loss. I know she is now at peace and with loved ones who passed before. She was an old friend, probably 60 plus years. I will miss our time together when I came north. I pray That our Heavenly Father grant you all peace and cover you with His love. - Posted by: Erika Behnke (Friend) on: Sep 05, 2017

  • My condolences on the loss of your Mother and Oma. Going to miss our phone calls and lunches and laughs about our childhood adventures/misadventures. - Posted by: Gerda (Duesterdiek) Bavasah (Childhood friend) on: Sep 02, 2017
