Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJUSTIN CHARLES BETUZZI May 13, 1988 - September 7, 2017 It is with profound sadness and our deepest sorrow that we announce the tragic passing of our beloved son and brother, Justin Charles Betuzzi. Justin was born on May 13, 1988 in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Left behind to deeply mourn his loss are his parents, Larry and Vera Betuzzi, his precious brother Adam and his girlfriend, Tara. Left to cherish his memories are also numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and co-workers. Justin touched the lives of everyone he met and knew with his wonderful personality, thoughtfulness and his beautiful, radiant smile that could light up any room. Justin had a passion for flying which developed at a young age. He followed his dream to pursue a career in aviation. Justin attended college in Ontario where he was the recipient of an award for High Standard in Flying and Commercial Pilot upon graduation. Immediately following graduation Justin accepted an aviation position as a Second Officer and was upgraded to First Officer flying a Boeing 727 jet. Through this employment he was given the opportunity to fulfill his dream of flying a jet and flew throughout Canada, the United States, Bermuda and Cuba. Justin's joy and passion for flying recently led him to pursue a new opportunity and adventure in flying a Dash 8 in Africa which he felt was his dream job. Justin was a remarkable young man with so many accomplishments in his short life. He was very family orientated and loved spending time with family and relatives and especially his brother Adam, his girlfriend, Tara and her family. Justin loved playing his guitar, the outdoors, hunting, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, camping, snowboarding and surfing which led to many wonderful experiences that he shared with his family and those close to him. Justin achieved his black belt in Taekwondo prior to graduating from high school and was honoured to help instruct his father and brother in also achieving their black belts. Justin always looked forward to our annual family trips with our last trip taking us to Tofino, B.C. where he shared his love of surfing with his father while his brother and mother watched. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in Thunder Bay for family and close friends. In lieu of flowers and in thinking of Justin's love of animals, donations in his name may be made to the Thunder Bay District Humane Society. www.voyagefuneralhomes.com

When I heard about Justin's death, I was shocked. Too young to die ! I did not know him much, but we've had some conversations a few times as he was staying at our hotel in province of Quebec, ( YMX area ), for his work as a pilot for a cargo company located in Ontario he was flying for not so long ago, before the company ceased use of the 727 aircraft type ... I remember some laughter ... He looked like a nice decent man to me. Always polite, calm and smiling. Difficult for me not to think about his mother and father and family and friends. And even if none of them know me, my thoughts of hope, desolation and grief are going their way. May the pain of physical absence of Justin fade a bit with time and his memory live in your hearts forever. As a private small plane pilot myself, i will look up in the sky and send him my best thoughts ... Thank's for reading. Mario M - Posted by: Mario M.
