Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLOIS ADELE KUPCHIK February 3, 1953 - September 10, 2017 After a short battle with cancer, Lois passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday, September 10, 2017 at the age of 64. Lois was predeceased by her parents Peter and Bernice Solnik and brother Al. Left to cherish her memory are her beloved son Dan (Kari); precious cat Bella; sister Trish (Paul); special friend Ian; nieces Terra (Chochi) and Candice; and nephews Alan and Jason, along with great nephews Brody and A.J. Lois was born in Ontario and at a young age moved to Manitoba. She worked at Safeway for close to 40 years where she created many memories and special friendships along the way. Lois enjoyed gardening, reading and spending time with her family and friends. She will be especially missed by the dogs in the neighborhood that adored Lois and knew to stop and wait at her mailbox for a treat. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at the St. Boniface Palliative Care for their care and compassion. As per her wishes, cremation has taken place and a come-and-go gathering will take place between 5:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 21 at The Royal Canadian Legion, 1748 Main Street at Hartford Avenue. www.voyagefuneralhomes.com

I was shocked and saddened to see Lois had passed. She was such a great person. We developed a friendship when I shopped at Safeway with my daughter. I would go everyday just to see her. My daughter was a baby and she was very good to her. In fact she graciously took Jennifer and babysat her when my father passed. Heaven has gained a beautiful angel.
