LILLY FRIESEN (nee KOHLER) June 19, 1932 - September 4, 2017 Lilly, at the age of 85, died suddenly at home on September 4, 2017. After many years of travelling around North America, she has completed her journeying on this earth to behold her eternal home with Jesus. She will be greatly missed. Lilly was predeceased by her husband Henry and her sister Hanna Nickel (Horst). She is survived by her brother Otto Kohler (Apolonia) as well as many nieces and nephews and their children and grandchildren, many of whom affectionately knew her as "Lolly." Blessed with good health for most of her life, Lolly was often on the go, whether taking a trip into the States or walking to the library or to McDonald's for a coffee and a muffin. She particularly enjoyed sharing her adventures with her friends and family. In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to a charity of your choice. A celebration of Lilly's life will be held in the chapel at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main Street in Winnipeg on Friday, September 22 at 11:00 a.m. with viewing prior to the service. Interment to follow at Brookside Cemetery.
