JEAN LORTEAU Jean passed away on September 22, 2017, at Seven Oaks Hospital, at the age of 82 years. He was predeceased by his parents Alphonse and Alvina; his wife Léonie (née Menard); his stepdaughter Rosemarie Nolin, two sisters, Bernice Anderson and Eva Soucy, four brothers, Edmond, Arthur, Robert and Roger, and many in-laws. He is survived by two sisters: Juliette Fox and Marie Barthelette, his son Gilles, two grandchildren, and numerous nephews and nieces and extended families. Jean was born in St. Labre, Woodridge. Many thanks go to Jean's wonderful friends and staff at Villa Aulneau, his home care workers in the last few years, and to the staff at the various hospitals in the last year. Funeral service will be held in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Ave. at Henderson Highway on Friday, September 29, 2017 at 7:00 p.m., Fr. Michel Nault will officiate. It was Jean's wish to be cremated. A private inurnment of his cremated remains will take place at Chapel Lawn at a later date.
