She leaves her best friend and sister Blanche, sister Peggy, sister-in-law Donna, and many nephews and nieces. Family meant everything to Marion and especially spending quality time with her children and grandchildren. Marion took great pride in her career at Eaton's and No. 7 Equipment Depot and later at the Weather Office as a weather forecaster plotting maps. She loved to tell how she could read the weather and clouds. When Marion and Bill married they lived on the river on Dunkirk Drive where she took great pride in Bill's canoeing business and riding their bikes to Assiniboine Park for a picnic on Sunday afternoons. The family would like to thank the Waverley and Rosewood where she lived for seven years and lastly Golden Links Lodge for making sure Mom was happy and well looked after. With Marion's wishes cremation and private interment has taken place. A celebration of Marion's life will be held at Paul's place for tea from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 .

Sorry to hear of the passing of Mrs. Brigden. She was a kind, gentle person - fond memories of visiting her son Paul at their Dunkirk Drive home. Mrs. Brigden always had great snacks like her puffed wheat cake. Our family were proud to be owners of a Brigden canoe which was named " Yellow Bird " - bought in 1969 and gave us decades of enjoyment. Condolences to all the Brigden family. - Posted by: Murray Sisler (Family friend) on: Oct 08, 2017
