Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARIAN MAUGHAN April 23, 1932 - October 14, 2017 With heartfelt sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of our sister and auntie, Marian. She was predeceased by her husband Jim (Mickey); her parents, brothers, Walter and Donald (Brenda); and sister Georgina (Raymond). Mourning her passing are her sister Janet (John) McPike and numerous nieces, nephews and their families. Marian was born and raised in Winnipeg and graduated from Lord Selkirk School in Elmwood. She had a long, fulfilling career with Janzen Builders for 48 years. Marian had a very special bond with the Janzen's and always said they were her "other" family. She will always be remembered for her generosity, her strength and her integrity. In true Marian fashion, "She did it her way". Special thank-you to the compassionate staff and volunteers at Jocelyn House. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main Street. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba or Jocelyn House. Rest In Peace our dear angel.
