BONNIE MAY BRAND Bonnie Brand, 68, passed away Friday, October 13, 2017, with her family by her side, in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She was born September 28, 1949 in Winnipeg, Manitoba to Ross Johnson and Bessie Vincent. Bonnie graduated from Kelvin High School. She also attended the University of Winnipeg, Education Centre, where she obtained a Social Work Degree, and was later employed with numerous child welfare agencies in Winnipeg throughout her career. Bonnie has accomplished many things throughout her life, however, she devoted much of her time and energy as a mother, a grandmother, a loving friend and we can't forget her absolute love for her dogs. Bonnie is survived by her two sons, Blue and Shawn Brand, one nephew, David Johnson, and four grandchildren, Lyric, Nue, Shawna and Danielle. She will always be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother and whose greatest passion was helping others. She will be missed by many and we will always carry her memory in our hearts. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St., Winnipeg, MB.
