WILLIAM MAURICE (BILL) DAVIS It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our dear father William Maurice (Bill) Davis, in his home, on October 7, 2017 at the age of 83. Bill is survived by his children: Torrie Fonda (Henry), Monika Rosenfeld, Billy, Louis (Silvia) and Susan Daly (Shawn); grandchildren: Tereza, Yolanda, Travis, Amy, Stephanie, Amanda, Sawyer, and great-grandchildren: Morghan and Olivia. He was predeceased by his son Douglas, and son-in-law Ken Rosenfeld. Dad was born and raised in Transcona on November 1, 1933. He attended Central School and St. John's College. He was a trained butcher and worked with his father Louis Davis in the family's Red and White Store in Transcona. He later began employment with CP Rail as a trainman and worked as a conductor until his retirement. Dad enjoyed sports and was a very talented athlete. He enjoyed his winters in Hawaii and Arizona.
