Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRONALD R. LEWIS It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather, Ronald, on Sunday, October 22, 2017, at St. Boniface Hospital, at the age of 81 years. He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife Carole; son Steve (Sabrina) of Niverville, MB; grandson Ryder, and granddaughter Tylor. Ronald was predeceased by his sister Carol. Dad was born April 8, 1936 in Winnipeg. After completing his degree in Architecture, Dad worked for the University of Manitoba where he oversaw the operation of the physical plant. Dad was a car aficionado and often would be spotted driving around Niverville in one of his prized motors. Summers were spent at the lake enjoying the outdoors and walking. Dad loved old movies with "the really good actors". He would talk about how films used to feature a "good plot with some substance". He was a man who lived a life of daily gratitude. He will be remembered for his kind and gentle spirit and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. A funeral service will be held Saturday, October 28, 2017 at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street at 1:00 p.m.
