CHARLENE ANN WILD April 1, 1946 October 20, 2017 It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of our dear mom and grandma. Mom was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Blanche (Shawaga) Wild and her brother Terry. She is survived by her loving children, Lesley (Les Latkovich) and Rick Pirrie; precious grandchildren, Danielle, Christopher (Sadye) and Taylor (Cameron); extra special great- grandchildren, Lila, Lexi, Layni, Ziclane and Nasik; nieces, Michele and Paula, extended family, along with extended family members in Saskatchewan. Mom was born and raised in Winnipeg. She attended St. Mary's Academy and was a longtime employee of MTS. She was very creative and loved her coloured pencils, ceramics, scrapbooking and photography. Her camera was out wherever she went. After retiring, mom travelled by train and cruise ships exploring both coasts of North America. She was a giver of gifts and cards, many made by her. No one's birthday was forgotten. Christmas was her favourite holiday and her home was a Christmas wonderland. As per her request, cremation has taken place and no service will be held. We found this in Mom's purse, it has provided comfort: "I am not dead; I merely move to other realms, I live in you and wander in your dreams." We know you are leaving a trail of sparkle and bling in every realm. Rest easy Mom. You are so missed. Love you forever. www.voyagefuneralhomes.com

  • I remember "charlie" from work. She was such an incredibly nice person. Always a smile on her face and such a great sense of humor. A great person to work with. Some people you remember over your lifetime; as they were were a positive source of good energy. She was one of them. So sorry to her family for your loss. May the memories you have of your mom bring a smile and help you through this difficult time. - Posted by: Sandi S (Former co-worker) on: Nov 21, 2017
