  • Your Mom was a Gift to all who Knew Her I am so grateful to have known your Mom. I will always remember her magnificently generous spirit and her openness to make her home a home for anyone who needed a place to crash and call home: be it for a week, a month or in my case...years. I will always be so grateful to Karen for what she did to help me find my way through a difficult time in my life. She was a very kind lady who always had the best of intentions and the biggest of hearts. She taught me some wonderful life lessons in generosity, compassion and devotion. She felt like a second Mother to me for many years and expected nothing in return. Upon me finally moving out, she cared for my two fur babies until their last days and I have no doubt she loved and spoiled them well. She was a good fur-baby mama also. Jacqueline, Sabrina and Graham, your Mom showed us all that you don’t have to have everything in order to give everything. I truly believe your Mom gave all that she was able to give of herself, to you three. In her honour try hard to always stay connected, Love each other through thick and thin & always have each other’s back’s. With each other, and your own children try to focus on the things that money can’t buy like forgiveness, love and understanding. I believe your Mom will be missed by many friends and most especially those whose lives she touched everyday such as yours, your Children, your Mom's Mom will feel a great loss where she once would be, doing all the things your Mom did best. My sincere condolences to you all. She was a wonderful woman, who right to the end of her journey tried to do it all on her own...she was blessed though to have you all there to show her she was loved and fully supported by those whom she loved most. Though much time has passed us by, your Mom will never be forgotten by me. May the fight; determination and strong mindedness she gifted you all with, be your guide now in her absence. My love goes out-to you all today, tomorrow and always. Respectfully with much love, Sherry Gibson-Walters - Posted by: Sherry Gibson-Walters (Friend of-the family ) on: Oct 30, 2017
