I've known Bill all my life and he was a very good friend of my Dad's. It was always an interesting time when you would meet Bill on of the side roads when we were crop checking in the summer or deer hunting in the fall. Bill was always happy to see us and always had a story to tell. If you wanted to know about the history that took place at Dallas-Red Rose all you needed to do was ask Bill and you were set for 2 hours. Bill will be missed by all who knew him. He always said he was the last of the old timers left and now he will join all his buddies that left before him. Condolences to the family and may he rest in peace.
