PETER JANZEN Peacefully, with family at his side, Peter, beloved husband of Irene, passed away at Concordia Hospital at the age of 79 years. Peter will be sadly missed by his wife Irene of 53 years; children, Brigitte (Jeff), Brenda (Richard), Ray (Theresa) and Nancy (Mike); and grandchildren, Justin, Lucas, Jonah, Anya, Myla, and Joshua. He is also survived by sisters, Tina and Marichen and many nieces, nephews and friends. The family wishes to thank the staff at Bethania Mennonite Personal Care Home for their loving care and compassion over the years. Thank you also to all the staff at Concordia Hospital for their comforting support during Peter's final days. Memorial service will be held on Monday, November 6, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main Street, with Pastor Jack Dyck officiating. A private family interment will take place at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either the Spiritual Care Program or the Recreation Program at Bethania Mennonite Personal Care Home.
