Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROBERT (BOB) DYCK Bob Dyck died on November 7, 2017 at the age of 68. His spouse of 46 years, Darlene, son Kevin (Bobbi), daughter Laura (Scott) and grandson Nico feel lost without him. Sisters Betty Casault, Anita Kroeker and Edith Perin (John) sense a part of themselves missing. His ancestors including father Nicolai Dyck (2001), mother Helena (nee Hildebrand) (1958), and stepmother Mary (nee Schmidt) (2001) welcome him back from whence he came. A memorial service followed by faspa (light lunch) will be held on Friday, November 17 at Bethel Mennonite Church at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mennonite Central Committee, The Salvation Army or a charity of your choice. Bob Dyck was the principle of WMES during my years there. I was in the same class as his daughter Laura. He was a lovely man. I was particularly touched when, in the early years of my theatre career, Bob came to see me in a play at the Winnipeg Fringe Festival. We bumped into each other in the hall of the Pantageous Playhouse just before I went on. He was very kind and encouraging. It meant a lot to me that he came out to support a former student like that.
