  • No words will fill the void of losing a mother/grandmother as wonderful as Marlene. Her family was her life, and it showed in every smile and every word she spoke. Marlene always loved to be with her family, and she will always be with each one of you with her memories you hold dear. - Posted by: Esther (friend of family) on: Nov 19, 2017

  • I enjoyed sitting with Marlene at times in the lobby of our block, chatting about life and living. She was vigilant in preparing empty drink cans for Shriner's Hospital, ensuring the little tabs were collected toward wheelchairs. She supported her daughter's charitable causes, and quietly spoke out regarding the inequities of life for others. Marlene was a good person, and I will miss her. It will not be the same without her. Bless you on your way, and your loved ones as they cope with your loss. - Posted by: Gail Singleton (Apartment Block friend) on: Nov 18, 2017

  • Nothing can make up for the loss of your mother and grandmother, but knowing that she loved and was loved helps. My heartfelt condolences. Naomi Kruse - Posted by: Naomi Kruse (Friend of Debbie) on: Nov 18, 2017

  • We always enjoyed spending time and talking with Marlene whether it was attending Rainbow Stage together, helping to assemble furniture, visiting together at the lake or at home. Although private Marlene had a dry sense of humor which came in handy especially in the dark of night when she fell down our lake home steps and brushed it off like the trooper she was. She loved her family and regaled us with stories about them. We will miss you Marlene. - Posted by: Kathy and Lorne Lautens (Friend of the family) on: Nov 18, 2017

  • Deb, Sincere condolences. - Posted by: Brent Hamel (old friend) on: Nov 18, 2017
