MARY ISABELLA BOONE (nee PHILPOTT) Mary Isabella Boone (nee Philpott) peacefully passed away Sunday, November 19, 2017 at Kildonan Personal Care Centre. Mom was born December 25, 1926 in St. Andrews within the Norwood School District. Mary was the baby of the family and was predeceased by her parents, Francis W. Philpott and Margaret Philpott (nee Setter); her siblings, Francis, Anne Carter, Gordon, Dougal, Alfred, Raymond and Gladys Carter. Mary was predeceased by her husband George Cameron Boone in 1975. She is survived by her two daughters, Carol (Robert) and Debbie (Mike) and four grandchildren, Cathie, Geordie, Brian (Kailey) and Tom. Mom is also survived by her sister-in-law Pat and many extended family members. We would like to thank the staff at Kildonan Personal Care Centre for their kindness and the excellent care they took of mom. Pam, Danny, Catherine, Fritzy and all the rest of the staff made our lives easier because we did not have to worry about mom's care when we were away from her. Mary was a kind and loving mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed by her family. She was always there for us and she knew how loved she was because we told her each and every time we visited her. She is finally at peace. A Come and Go reception will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street on Saturday, November 25, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon with speaking commencing at 10:00 a.m. A private family interment will take place next spring at St. George's Wakefield Anglican Church. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Siloam Mission, 300 Princess Street, Winnipeg, MB R3B 1M3.
