DONNA GLADYS ANHALT 1930 - 2017 Donna passed away on November 16, 2017. She was predeceased by her parents, Alex and Diana Ristau. In her early years, she was a gifted vocalist and was Soprano soloist at McDermot Avenue Baptist Church and later at Broadway First Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Winnipeg Philharmonic Choir. Music was of great interest to her and she enjoyed for many years the concerts of the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra and the Manitoba Opera. In later years, she was an active participant in the Niners Ladies Golf Group at St. Charles Country Club. She is survived by her husband Edward of 66 years; son Edward of Vancouver, BC; daughter Cynthia Hicks and son-in-law Geoffrey Hicks of Winnipeg. The family would also like to acknowledge with gratitude the support and help of the Palliative Care nurses and staff as well as the doctors at the Palliative Care Facility at the St. Boniface Hospital.
