DORIS SANDUL March 18, 1920 - November 27, 2017 Peacefully, with her family at her side, Mom left us for a better place, at the age of 97. She was predeceased by her husband, George Sandul; sisters, Anne, Mary, Nettie and Kay; brothers, Pete, John, Steve and Bill; as well as two sons, Stanley and Amell; and grandson Michael. She is survived by five children, Nestor (Sophie), Olga, Lawrence (Connie), Ervin (Debbie) and Wall (Marian); her favourite who was there for anything and everything that Mom ever wanted or needed. Also, 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. After the passing of our father in 1961, mom moved with her four sons to Winnipeg in 1965 for us to better our lives. In 1985, Mom moved back to Vita to enjoy her retirement. In 1992, Mom suffered a severe stroke that left her incapable of living on her own and had to be moved to the Vita Personal Care Home in early 1993, where she remained for her final 24 years. The family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses and especially the Vita Personal Care Home staff for their care and affection over the past 24 years. Pallbearers are Mark Fedorowich, Murry Fedorowich, Robert Sandul, Ryan Sandul, Robert Olson and Joe Sandul. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 29 at 10:30 a.m. at the Korban Funeral Chapel in Vita, Manitoba, with burial at the St. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Arbakka, Manitoba. Korban Funeral Chapel 245 Railway Avenue, Vita, MB Tel: 1-204-425-3114
