Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDARREL ALLEN SHAVER Darrel Allen Shaver, born on December 19, 1954, passed away peacefully at 62 years young, with his loving wife Suzette by his side, on the morning of December 10, 2017. He is survived by his parents, Allen and Ruth Shaver; his children, Kirsten (Rick), Derek (Erin), Karen (Ryan) and Kaitlyn, as well as all of his 10 grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Terry (Mary), Dan, Nancy (Robin), Tim (Laura), Dave (Nicole) and Christine (Colin). He was predeceased by his oldest sister Norine. Darrel was born in Winnipeg and was raised mostly in Stony Mountain, MB. He married the love of his life, Suzette (nee Cheret) on August 20, 2004. Together they shared their love of nature, camping and travelling, and spent their years making life an adventure. Darrel was loved deeply by his wife and family. He will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. A memorial service will be held Thursday, December 14, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 807 Setter St., in Winnipeg. All are welcome to come remember him. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Darrel's honour to the Manitoba Wildlife Federation at mwf.mb.ca under "Get Involved".
