BRIAN RONALD SANEK It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Brian Ronald Sanek on December 24, 2017, after a lengthy illness. Brian was born February 7, 1947 to Lena (Poogie) and Joe Sanek. He was predeceased by his parents and as well siblings, Ronnie and Steve. He leaves to mourn his wife Aileen; daughters, Maureen Daoust (Milos) and Kelli Clarke (Scott); sister Kim McLaughlin (Darrel); grandchildren, Brydon, Jennifer, Devin; nieces and nephews, Wendy, Brenda, Ryan, Justin, Carrie and Lisa, "the Garrys", along with a multitude of amazing friends. After Brian's retirement from a long-time career at Balcaen & Sons, he totally immersed himself in his passion of everything outdoors. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, devoted Red River Speedway and Nascar fan, and was happiest when sharing his passions with family and friends. Brian was loved by all who came to know him, quick with a story or joke, and always there if you needed help. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 30 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Ave at Henderson Hwy. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Brian's name to the Kidney Foundation. www.voyagefuneralhomes.com
