Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARTY GRANT BADER Marty Grant Bader, 60, passed away Monday January 1, 2018, at his home in Winnipeg, MB. He is survived by his wife Soraya Bader; son Ryan Bader and wife Laila of Weyburn, SK; daughter Kyrissa Kirkpatrick and husband Cody of Weyburn, SK, son Dylan Bader, of Winnipeg, MB; grandchildren Emily, Lyndsay and Ethan Kirkpatrick of Weyburn, SK; sister Pat Byman and husband Craig; sister Pam Lee; brother Rick Bader; brother Ron Charles; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Marty was known by many for his sense of humour and love of making others smile. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 11, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Ave at Henderson Hwy. In lieu of flowers the family would ask that you consider donating to your local Canadian Mental Health Association in Marty's memory. www.voyagefuneralhomes.com

I met Marty & Soraya many years ago thru the local hockey community. Marty & Soraya were always at the rink watching Dylan play. Marty was pretty proud of Dylan when I first met him, and Marty turned out to be quite an entertaining guy himself. Marty was one of those familiar faces at the rink that you were happy to see when you walked in. My condolences to Soraya, Dylan and the rest of the Bader family.
