MIKE ANTHONY DUTKA January 19, 1924 - January 9, 2018 Peacefully on Tuesday, January 9, 2018, at Seven Oaks Hospital, Mike Dutka passed away at the age of 93. Mike was born in Shoal Lake, Manitoba on January 19, 1924 to Wasyl and Mary Dutka. Mike farmed in the Oakburn area for many years, then moved to Winnipeg where he began his career in the cleaning industry before his retirement in 1994. To mourn his passing are his sisters Phyllis Michalyshyn, Betty Dutka, Helen Fustey and Marusia (Ted) Koroscil, numerous nieces and nephews, and "TO-GO", his loving shitzu, that Mike saw every day at Holy Family Home and brought such great joy and happiness to Mike. Mike was predeceased by his parents Wasyl and Mary, wife Nell, wife Anna, brother Donnie, and sisters Anne, Vera and Alexandria. The family wishes to express sincere thanks to Father Bashutskyy, Cropo Funeral Chapel, and the staff at Holy Family Home for their care and compassion during his short stay. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Interment at All Saints Cemetery, 4535 Main Street, West St. Paul, MB. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mike's memory may be given to Holy Family Home, Ukrainian Catholic Parish of Blessed Virgin Mary, the Winnipeg Humane Society, or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
