Marilyn was predeceased by her parents and sister Ellenmae. Marilyn is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Allan; sons, Kevin and Ryan (Tannis) and grandson Emmett; sister Joanne (Glen) and brother Paul (Sharon); as well as many nephews and nieces. Marilyn graduated from the University of Winnipeg and Manitoba and subsequently taught school for two years before leaving the workforce to raise her precious sons. Condolences to the family of Marilyn Ahoff. We are distant relatives and sorry we haven’t had the chance in life to get to know your side of the family. My grandfather was George Ahoff and his siblings were Ernie Ahoff (football player), Allan Ahoff, Charles Ahoff, Betty and couple or one other. Marilyn sounded like a wonderful woman and if only our families could have known one another we could have enjoyed knowing Marilyn’s lovely nature! She seemed like a wonderful person and will be missed by those who knew her! Again belated sincere condolences to you! Sharilee Ahoff, distant relative (and my brother Morgan and I are last of the Ahoff’s on this side) - Posted by: Sharilee Ahoff (Distant relative on my father’s side) on: Aug 23, 2025

I am so sorry for your loss. Marilyn was such a wonderful lady. Memories of family gatherings on Christmas eve and summers at Gimli and Arnes will remain precious. She loved her boys, that is for sure and always had a smile when she talked about the family. We will miss you dearly. - Posted by: LouiseTaylor (Cousin) on: Feb 07, 2018

I was very sad to hear of Marilyn’s illness and passing. I hadn’t seen Marilyn for many years but it seems like yesterday when the Asgeirson family and all the relatives gathered together on Christmas Eve. Marilyn was one of my favorite’s to chat with. I will always cherish these Christmas Eve memories. My heartfelt sympathy to Allan, Kevin, Ryan and family as well as Marilyn’s siblings and families. Love from Karen Asgeirson. - Posted by: Karen Asgeirson (Friend) on: Jan 13, 2018
