I know Winnie experienced some down days because she said so, but I never saw one, nor ever had someone say they had seen one. Winnie was always charming, kind, considerate, giving, friendly and enjoyable to be around. In a long lifetime that's how I always thought of her. I've learnt through the years that you can't buy or learn class, it's something some people are born with. The stork delivered Winnie with a huge gift of class. She spent a lifetime using that gift to make people feel good about themselves. All in all, a life well lived ! - Posted by: Family member () on: Feb 21, 2018

We are saddened to learn of the passing of Winnie. In years gone by, the Pilgrims and Rylands, as well as other former long time residents, would occasionally take turns hosting neighborly get-togethers. It's what made the neighbourhood great - many years acquainted with those close by. Heartfelt condolences from our family to yours. - Posted by: The Ryland family (Neighbours ) on: Jan 13, 2018

Sorry for your loss. I always loved your parents as neighbors. I remember her knitting a sweater for our daughter when she was born which I still have to this day. Winnie was one sweet person!! - Posted by: Erwin & Tammy Lutzer (Previous neighbors) on: Jan 13, 2018
