Just found out today about Garry's passing. I met Garry in Grade 7 at Aberdeen School. WE both loved music, art and the 1960's scene. Garry was very perceptive at an early age. I was drawn to him as a rare talent, and after leaving Aberdeen we hung out almost every day. His family provided a place for me for 3 years, and we both worked together at the U of M a little later. Remarkable bond between us. With changes occuring we lost touch after 15 years but have plenty of photographs and stories to remember. Garry was a treasure to many in his style. He had swagger. My sincere condolences regarding both Vivian and Garry. Your family will never leave me. Love and Peace, Wayne - Posted by: Wayne Wright (Friend) on: Jun 06, 2018

Garry was a classmate at Norquay School in the early 1960's. His drawing skills were greatly admired. He would doodle in every class and we couldn't wait to see his drawings when the bell rang. He was kind enough to give his closest friends drawing lessons after school at times. A quiet gentle soul he was. Rest in peace my talented old friend. - Posted by: Peter Woloschiniwsky (Former classmate) on: Jan 21, 2018
