Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJELENA (JEKA) MEDVED October 4, 1931 January 12, 2018 Peacefully on Friday, January 12, 2018, Jelena was surrounded by her beloved and heartbroken family while she took her last breath at Seven Oaks Hospital. Jelena was born in Batnoga, Kordun, Croatia to Vinko and Marija Kalic. She will be greatly missed by her daughter Kate; granddaughters, Melissa and Ashley; sisters, Tina, Milka and Zorka along with their families and many other relatives and friends. Prayers will be said on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street at 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 19 at St. Nicholas Tavelich Church, 2688 Main Street at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. Zbogom draga voljena Mama, Bako, i Sestro. Volimo te i nikad te necemo zaboravit. Pocivaj u Miru Bozjem.

Dear Kathy and family, So very sorry for the loss of your dear mother and grandmother. Our families were joined when we met your mother while our dad was in hospital and our loved ones shared a room. We are so thankful to have bonded with such a loving dedicated family. Kathy, the admiration we have for each other in caring for our loved ones brings us comfort and peace knowing they are finally at peace and watching over us! As my dad always said "Stay Strong"!!
