Adelia went to be with our Lord Friday, January 12, 2018 at 9:55 p.m. She was born in Acores, Portugal to Emidio and Maria da Gloria Carreiro. In 1964 she married the love of her life Antonio Cabral had one daughter, Susana Scott and immigrated to Canada in 1967. Adelia enjoyed going to the lake with her family and friends singing and laughing. She loved nature and flowers. Adelia was blessed with a very large family including her brother-in-law John (Aldora) and sister-in-law Gloria, with many nieces and nephews who she loved very much. Adelia is survived by her husband Antonio Cabral; her daughter Susana Scott; her five grandchildren, Victoria, Brendan, Mathew (Hanna), Kelsie (Steven), and Christopher (Ana); and her two sisters Judite and Irene. She was preceded in death by her son-in-law Jim Scott; three brothers, Emidio, Artur, and Luis; her two sisters, Maria da Lus and Esmeria, and brother-in-law Samuel. Prayers will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 4588 Roblin Blvd. on Thursday, January 18 at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 19 at 11:00 a.m. also at the church with reception followed by interment at Assumption Roman Catholic Cemetery. Rest in peace mama, We love you and miss you very much.
