With sadness, I just today learned of Geno's passing. We hadn't been in touch for years. We shared an interest in flight, his in the air as Pilot and mine from a history standpoint. He was not only a pilot but also a song writer. He made a very nostalgic song about the retired DC-3. I tried to encourage him to record it but his bashfulness held him back. It was dedicated to what he referred to as the famous "Lady of the Skies." The last line of his song reads, "Please Lord, when you call for me, please don't send your angels, I'll come in a DC-3." We met by chance while he was working with his brother Mathew who was doing work in our home. He now flies with the angels.
