NADENE GLORY FRASER ( REPA)
Born: Jul 11, 1935
Date of Passing: Jan 16, 2018
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNADENE GLORY FRASER ( nee REPA) July 11, 1935 - January 16, 2018 It is with extreme sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of our mother at Grace Hospital on January 16, 2018. Predeceased by her husband Robert (Bob) Fraser, parents Stephen and Julia; her sister Theda Winiarz; brothers Stephen Repa and Raine Leagh and loyal companion Rogue. Nadene or "Peanut" as so many fondly referred to her, will be so deeply missed by her children, Vikki and husband Darren, sons Rob and Barrett (Fay and Isabella) and of course her spoiled grandfur babies. She was born and grew up in the North End of Winnipeg and began her career working at United Grain Growers then in her later working years Canadian Tire and prior to retirement Relay Newsstand at the Airport. During these years she met and built many friendships. Nadene was a loving wife and mother always placing the needs of others in front of her own. She enjoyed many trips down south and with her youthful spirit she was always up to trying anything. Her passion for cooking and baking resulted in many care packages being distributed to her family and friends. In her spare time she also enjoyed reading, so much in fact she bought and operated St. James Book Exchange for many years. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of life will be held on Monday, January 22 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Ave at Henderson Hwy in Winnipeg. In lieu of flowers, donations in Nadene's memory may be made to Com-Span Inc. to support adults living with disabilities 102-66 Moore Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R2M 2C4 or to D'arcy's A.R.C (Animal Rescue Centre) 730 Century Street, Winnipeg, MB R3H 0M1 or via CanadaHelps.org. www.voyagefuneralhome.com

I am so sorry to hear about Nadene's passing and sorry I couldn't go. I loved Nadene-she was a wonderful person who I will always have fond memories of. "Krusty" ❤ as I used to call her because of her sense of humor, made work more enjoyable and the world a sadder place without her huge heart. - Posted by: Jeanne (Coworker ) on: Apr 07, 2018

It seems like only yesterday when I was at Bob and Nadene's wedding. Although we crossed paths infrequently, I was always impressed by her amazing strength of character and total devotion to her family. - Posted by: Paula Harris (Second Cousin) on: Jan 22, 2018

Nade was a brilliant ray of sunshine and brought love and levity to everyone she met. The world is a better place because she had a gift that she shared freely. Her gift will keep giving as she lives on in our heats and minds. Rest In Peace “Fanny”. - Posted by: Don Loewen (Family friend) on: Jan 21, 2018
