ZACHARY WILLIAM SMITH It is with shattered hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved son, brother and uncle Zach on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at the age of 22 years. Zach was predeceased by Papa John Greenizan, Pop William Smith Sr.; and infant sister Riley. He leaves to mourn his mother Cindy (Rob), his father William (Laura); two sisters, Teagan (Keith) and Taylor; niece Izzy; and nephew Ian; as well as, baby niece who is due in May. Zach was born on October 2, 1995. The youngest sibling. Our baby boy. From a very young age, Zach had a love for the "Lion King". From the moment he was born, he truly lived an "hakuna matata" lifestyle, one with no worries. He was the first person to make light of a situation and the one to turn to for a laugh. He was most often found on the couch watching NFL football cheering on the Buccaneers, drawing pictures, playing video games or in a movie theatre with his friends. He loved telling bad jokes, surprising his family members with gifts, and of course, pepperoni pizza. He was the goofiest kid with the best imagination and anybody that knew Zach would know how funny, sarcastic and caring he truly was. He was taken way too soon but his spark will live in our hearts forever. Hakuna Matata Zach, means no worries for the rest of your days. We love you to the moon and back. A Celebration of Zach's life will be held Friday, January 26, 2018 at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street at 1:00 p.m.

Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • We just found out about Zach's passing. He was a friend of our daughter Maya who passed away last year. My husband Brian and I fully understand how you are feeling. We are sending prayers your way and our deepest condolences. If you need to talk we are available. The disbelief and anger will stay for sometime. Our kids want us to live and it is so hard after they pass away. Know that we are here for you. I have to believe that in the spirit world Maya is asking Zach what the hell is he doing there, those 2 characters will be up to some adventures. God Bless. - Posted by: Susan Person (Maya's Mom) on: Feb 01, 2018
