Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryARNOLD THIESSEN With profound sadness, we announce the unexpected passing of our loving husband, father and grandfather, Arnold Thiessen on January 27, 2018 at St. Boniface Hospital. He is survived by his wife Tina Thiessen (nee Barkman) and children, Bruce (Lyndell), Andrew, and Melanie (Alex) and their children, Mercedes, Mani and Luisa. He is predeceased by his first wife Lois Thiessen in 1998. Funeral will be held at Braeside Church, 1011 Munroe Avenue on Friday, February 2, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Viewing will be on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main Street from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Interment at Mennonite Memorial Gardens / Wheeler Cemetery. Donations may be made to Union Gospel Mission at the service or online.

Tina, I'm so sorry to hear about Arnold's passing. He was a great guy and I have fond memories of the times we all spent together. I'm glad you had those wonderful years together and that we were able to see each other in September. Tina your life will be different now but the Lord will be with you as He has been with me.
