Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDOROTHY MARY ZIMMERMAN (nee MCKENZIE) With her daughters by her side, Dorothy passed away at St. Boniface General Hospital early Saturday morning on January 27, 2018. She is survived by her daughters, Wendy (Bryan) Eade, and Pam (Thoi) Dao; grandchildren, Mychell, Penny, Anthony, Melinda, Jordon, Lewis, Hannah and Alyna; along with great-grandchildren, Justis, Christian, Darien and Sarah. Mom is with our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ and is joining her husband Lloyd, (of 65 years) in glory, as well as, her mom Gwen; dad William; and siblings, Joyce, Jean and Bob. Many thanks to Dr. Borrett and staff at The Grace Hospital, Dr. Krauss and staff at St. Boniface Hospital, Margaret and staff at Lions Manor, and also staff at The Misericordia Health Centre. Funeral service will be held on Friday, February 2, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Ave. at Henderson Hwy. Viewing to be held half an hour prior to service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Dorothy to the Heart & Stoke Foundation or the COPD Foundation. www.voyagefuneralhomes.com

Dear Wendy and Pam, so sorry to hear about your wonderful Mama, Now with Jesus. What a wonderful friend she was to our family. Always a very positive outlook on life. Our sincere condolences to Dot's family. What a beautiful lady! One of the first people to welcome and greet us to Waves of Glory in May 1983. Her laughter and smile was infectious. Always loving and caring, willing to help wherever needed and a real support and encourager.
