MARIA COELHO Peacefully on Monday, January 29, 2018, at River East Personal Care Home, at the age of 88. Maria is survived by two sons, Helder (Sophia) of Winnipeg and Luis (Wendy) of Beausejour; seven grandchildren, Stanley, Jennifer, Jessica, Delaney, Jesse, Brady and Sierra; and five great-grandchildren, Damien, Katelyn, Greyson, Gavin and Mackenzie. Maria also leaves to mourn her passing several nieces and nephews in Portugal and Venezuela. She was predeceased by her husband Luis; two sisters and two brothers. Maria was born in Portugal and immigrated to Canada with her husband and her two boys in 1967. She made Winnipeg her home until her passing. Visitation/viewing will be held Thursday, February 1, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Funeral service will be held on Friday, February 2, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. also in the Chapel. Interment will follow in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. The family would like to thank River East Personal Care Home staff for the love and comfort they provided Maria over the last few years.
