Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHILDA GIRDLESTONE April 25, 1928 - January 23, 2018 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Hilda Girdlestone. Hilda was predeceased by her beloved husband Bill; daughter Nancy and son John; sisters, Ruth and Lillian and brothers, Alfred and Ernest. She is survived by her dear son Paul and nieces and nephews. Mom had many happy memories of her friends and neighbours from Saturn Bay, Vincent Street, Eaton's, bridge parties and family get togethers. Cremation has taken place and Mom requested that no formal service be held. I would like to thank the wonderful nurses and nursing assistants at the Grace Hospital and the Riverview Health Centre for their very kind and compassionate care. www.voyagefuneralhomes.com

I loved spending time with your mom, Paul. She was an amazing conversationalist, with many wonderful stories to share. She had an immense interest in life. She was so very proud of you and always spoke of your compassionate caring and of how much she appreciated all you did for her. You made her very happy, Paul.
