GREGORY WARD HOLT July 7, 1960 - February 11, 2018 It is with heavy hearts the family announces the sudden passing of Gregory on Sunday, February 11, 2018. Left to cherish his memory are his beautiful wife Tina, who he loved "more than words"; his daughter, his angel Brittany (Brian); his son, his buddy Justin (Raychel); and daughter, his princess Kaytlyn; along with stepfather Cliff Squires and brother Mark (Pearl). He was predeceased by his mother Louise Squires and most recently his father Alan Holt. Gregory was a great father and friend. His family and children meant the world to him. He was so proud of each of his children and their accomplishments. Nothing made him happier than spending time with his family and precious memories they made together. He was so happy the McFarlane family took him in and thought of him as one of their own. He considered them all his brothers and sisters. Their love and support always gave him great comfort. He had also just reconnected with special aunts, uncles and cousins, and enjoyed sharing the stories of their youth with Tina and Kaytlyn. This short time together was not enough but we will be forever grateful that is was at all. The family would like to thank Kaytlyn's special friend Ashton for all his support as well as numerous family and friends who have reached out and helped during this heartbreaking time. As per his wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held. "More than words my love." www.voyagefuneralhomes.com

  • Greg was the bestest neighbor. Since I first moved next door, he always looked out for me. Whether cutting grass for me before my birthday parties, pushing me out of the back lane when stuck AGAIN, even with a sore back, or coming with me to help with the purchase of my dream car.... I cannot count the ways he had enriched my life. He always made it a priority to pause and catch up on his way to or from work, and our plans for bonfires in the back yard watching the works drive by. You were a great friend and will be missed. - Posted by: Terri (Neighbor) on: Feb 16, 2018
