VERA EILEEN GENEREUX (nee DOMINEY) Vera Eileen Genereux of Winnipeg, died peacefully on February 12, 2018 with family by her side at St Boniface Hospital. She was 87. She was predeceased by her first husband, Jim Young, of 35 years; second husband Roger, of 25 years; children: Derek, Diane and Wayne; granddaughter Chaundra Lynn; parents and eight siblings. Vera leaves behind brother, Clyde (Marilyn);, children Sharon (Tenis), Brian (Penny), Brenda (Clayton), Chris, David (Holly) and Jennifer (Brad). As well as 18 plus grandchildren, 19 plus great-grandchildren, stepchildren/grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the St Boniface Palliative care team and staff at Misericordia Cornish 2 Interim Care Unit. Cremation has taken place. She will be laid to rest at a later date in Nipigon, ON. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Misericordia Cornish 2 Interim Care Unit at the Misericordia Health Care Unit, 99 Cornish Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3C 1A2.
