Hello Jocelyn, I was at a WRHA function this evening and was asking about some of my former clients and was really saddened to hear that Steven had passed away. I retired in December and would so love to have gone to the service for Steven but I somehow missed his obituary. He was such a sweet gentleman, as you well know, and always did his very best to be independent. We shared many chats and I always enjoyed hearing about his experiences growing up in Winnipeg almost a hundred years ago. I last saw Steven in the late fall and had thought that when the weather gets nicer I would take my little grand daughter and drop by for a visit but that is not to be. Steven spoke with me about his hope being in the Lord so I am grateful to know that he is now safely home in heaven with his loved ones. My thoughts are with you as I know that he was a big part of your life the last while and I know that you really functioned as a daughter to him. How wonderful for both of you! Please feel free to contact me, I would love to have a chat. Sincerely, Colleen Janz - Posted by: Colleen Jnaz (Home Care Nurse) on: Apr 06, 2018
